You can download archived emails to your computer, one at a time or several at once, if your role has permission to download emails. Emails are downloaded as a ZIP file with one EML file per email.

Download a single email

1. Go to the Search section and find the email.
2. Click the email to open it in the reading pane.
3. In the reading pane toolbar, click Download.
4. In the Download as ZIP window, click Download email.

Download several emails

1. Tick the checkboxes next to the emails you want to download.
2. Click Download in the toolbar above the results.
3. In the Download as ZIP window, click Download N emails.

Please note that you can download up to 1,000 emails at a time. If you select more, Download is disabled.

When the download is ready

A Downloading... window lets you know the ZIP file is being prepared. Click OK to close it and keep working. Your browser's download prompt appears once the file is ready.

Please note that you can run only one download at a time. While a download is being prepared, Download shows Download in progress. If the file isn't ready within 2 minutes, the download is canceled and you'll see: Download couldn't be finished within 2 minutes. Action canceled. Try again with fewer emails, or use Export for larger sets.

For files from the File or Website search, use Download File in the reading pane instead.
