Slack Archiving lets you connect your Slack workspace to Jatheon Cloud so its communications are captured automatically, then searched and managed alongside the rest of your archived data — email, other chat/social platforms, and files.
To set your Slack workspace up for archiving:
1. Navigate to Company Settings, located in the drop-down menu next to your initials in the upper right section of the screen.
2. Click on the Connectors tab, find Slack, and click Plus icon.
You then need to select the admin and set whether you want to have or not the historical data.
The next step is to choose the OUT connector:
Once you do, the admin receives an email and he/she needs to choose the Slack entity to give the permission to Jatheon to archive data. Archiving begins automatically once the workspace is successfully connected.
Once connected, Slack messages, threads, and attachments appear in the same Social Media Search you already use for other platforms — see How to Search for Social Media Content.
