Software version: cCore 4
Role: End User, Compliance Officer
This article describes how to export search results from Jatheon cCore. After performing a search, you can export either all matching messages or only selected messages in one of the supported export formats.
cCore supports exporting messages in the following formats:
- PST
- EML
Depending on the selected export format, additional export options may be available.
If you are using an earlier version of cCore, refer to the legacy article: How to Export Search Results into a PDF File .
Step 1: Select Messages to Export
Perform a search and select one or more messages using the checkboxes next to each message. To begin the export process, click Export from the toolbar.
Step 2: Configure Export Options
The Export dialog allows you to configure the export before it is generated.
Select one of the available export formats:
- PST – exports messages into a Microsoft Outlook PST file.
- PDF – exports messages as PDF documents.
- EML – exports messages as individual email files.
Depending on the selected format, you may also configure additional options, including:
- Export as original email – exports the original message instead of a processed version.
- Include all attachments – embeds message attachments when supported by the selected format.
- Export Name – specifies the name of the exported file.
Finally, choose whether to export only the selected messages or all search results by clicking Export Selected Items or Export All.
Export Processing
After starting the export, cCore begins generating the export package. The processing time depends on the number of selected messages, the export format, and whether attachments are included.
Once the export has finished, the generated file becomes available for download.
Supported Export Actions
Export functionality is available from Search Results, Clipboard, Legal Hold, Saved Searches, and other sections where messages can be selected.
Depending on your permissions, you can export:
- Selected messages only
- All search results
- Messages from Clipboard
- Messages from Legal Hold
- Messages matching saved searches
