As a user of Jatheon Cloud, your password has to follow your company's password policy. As an Account Admin, you can ask Jatheon to change that policy for your company.

The default password policy

Unless your company has its own policy, a password must:

  • Be at least 8 and at most 255 characters long
  • Contain at least one lowercase letter (a-z)
  • Contain at least one uppercase letter (A-Z)
  • Contain at least one number (0-9)
  • Contain at least one special character: ! @ # $ % & + * ^ ( ) _
  • Not contain spaces or other special characters

See your company's password rules

The rules for your company are shown wherever you set a password:

  1. Click your initials in the top right corner and select Account Settings.
  2. Open the Security tab and click Change Password.

Security tab in Account Settings

  1. The rules are listed under New Password.

Password rules in the Change Password window

You'll see the same rules when you reset a forgotten password and when you set your password for the first time.

Change the password policy

Please note that the password policy can only be changed by Jatheon. To change it for your company, email Jatheon Support at support@jatheon.com with the rules you need:
