Which Export Formats Does Jatheon Support for FOIA Requests?

Both Jatheon Cloud and Jatheon cCore export emails to PST, EML and PDF, the formats most often used to respond to FOIA and public records requests. Jatheon Cloud can also export search results to CSV and XLSX.

Choose the format based on what the requester needs. PDF is easy to read and share, and works well for redacted records. PST and EML keep the original email format, so the recipient can open the messages in an email client.

In Jatheon Cloud

You can export to PST, PDF, EML, CSV or XLSX if your role has permission to export. PDF exports can include attachments, attachment transcripts and email notes. CSV and XLSX are available when you export more than one email.

In Jatheon cCore

You can export to PST, EML and PDF, with redaction before export. The Advanced Export task exports an unlimited number of emails to PST or EML in the background, so users can keep using the archive with no downtime.
