When risk scoring is turned on for your company, Jatheon Cloud scores each archived email for sensitive personal information (PII) and urgency, so you can see at a glance which messages may need a closer look.

View the risk level

1. Go to the Search section and search for emails.
2. Click an email in your results to open it on the right.
3. Look for the risk icon right after the subject line, and hover over it to see the scores.

The icon shows the overall risk level:

• High — a solid red icon with !
• Medium — a solid orange icon with !
• Low — an empty gray outline
• Unavailable — a dashed gray outline, when the email couldn't be scored. The email is still archived and searchable as normal.

Please note that the risk icon is shown only when you open an email. It isn't shown in the results list.

View the risk breakdown

Click the risk icon to open the Risk breakdown. Its label shows the overall level, and below it you'll see:

• PII Risk — a score out of 100 for the personal information found in the email
• Urgency — a score out of 10 for how urgent the email's language is
• PII entities — each item found, with its type (for example NAME, EMAIL, ADDRESS or PHONE), its value, where it appears (subject, body) and the confidence. The line above the list shows the most significant type.
• Sentiment — for example Neutral sentiment or Negative sentiment, with its confidence
• Urgency factors — what raised the urgency, for example imminent deadline or legal exposure

To close the breakdown, click anywhere outside it or press Esc.

How the risk level is calculated

The overall level is the higher of the PII Risk and Urgency levels, so an email can be high risk even if only one of them is high. Sentiment doesn't affect it.

Please note that an email with no personal information found is always low risk, even when its urgency is high.
