How to Perform Simple Search
Affected software version: cCore 4
Role: End User, Compliance Officer
Note: If you are using an earlier version of cCore, please refer to the legacy Simple Search article .
The Simple Search screen allows you to quickly search through archived messages in the Jatheon cCore web interface.
You can access Simple Search from the Search section in the left navigation menu. By default, the Simple Search tab is displayed.
Step 1: Enter a Search Term
To perform a simple search, enter the word or phrase you want to find in the search field at the top of the page.
Step 2: Select Search Fields
You can choose where cCore should search by selecting one or more available search fields, such as Senders, Recipients, Subject, Body, and Attachments.
This allows you to define whether the system should search only specific message fields or all available fields.
Step 3: Select a Date Range
To narrow down your search, select a date range from the date picker. You can use predefined ranges such as Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, or define a custom date range.
Step 4: Run the Search
Once you have entered the search term, selected the search fields, and configured the date range, click Search to run the search.
The matching messages will be displayed in the Search Results section. From there, you can review the messages and perform available actions such as export, download, print, apply tags, add messages to Clipboard, redact, or other supported actions.
