As an Account Admin, you can choose how often Jatheon Cloud emails your company a report of user activity from the audit log. The report shows who searched the archive, which emails were viewed and which logins failed.
Please note that the Schedule Reports button appears only when audit log reports are turned on for your company, and only for users with the Manage audit log reports permission, which Account Admins have by default. To turn audit log reports on or off, contact Jatheon Support.
Set the report frequency
- Go to the Audit section.
- Click Schedule Reports.
- In the Schedule Audit Log Reports window, select Daily, Weekly or Monthly.
- Click Save.
You'll see a confirmation message: Audit log reports schedule has been updated successfully.
The frequency applies to your whole company. When audit log reports are first turned on, it's set to Monthly.
What the report contains
Every Account Admin in your company receives the report by email, as an Excel (XLSX) attachment. It lists these actions by all users:
- Simple searches, advanced searches and social media searches, with the number of hits
- Viewed emails
- Failed logins, including failed single sign-on logins
Each row shows the date, the user, the user's permissions, the action type and a description.
Daily reports cover the previous day. Weekly reports are sent on Mondays and cover the previous week, and monthly reports are sent on the 1st and cover the previous month. Dates follow your company's time zone.
