How to Connect and Archive Gmail in Jatheon Cloud

This guide explains how to connect Google Mail (Gmail) to Jatheon Cloud for archiving.

Open Connectors, select Google Mail, and use the displayed Journaling Email together with the KB link for the step-by-step setup in Google Admin.

Step 1: Open Connectors and Select Google Mail

In Jatheon Cloud, go to the Connectors tab and click Google Mail.

Step 2: Copy the Journaling Email and Follow the KB Link

When Google Mail is selected, the system shows your organization’s Journaling Email. Copy this address and you’ll use it in Google Admin when creating the journal route/forwarding rule. A link to the detailed step-by-step instructions is also provided on the page.

Step 3: Configure Google Admin (Follow the KB Guide)

Open the linked Knowledge Base article and complete the configuration in Google Admin Console (set up the journal/route as instructed, using the copied Journaling Email). After saving the changes, messages will start journaling to Jatheon Cloud.

Once journaling is active, archiving runs automatically.
