As an Admin, you can configure the Jatheon appliance to archive email from Microsoft 365. Because Microsoft 365 cannot resolve the appliance address, journaling goes through your company's firewall instead of directly, as with on-premises Exchange versions.

How Microsoft 365 archiving works
Microsoft 365 cannot resolve the appliance address; the only thing it can recognize is your company's firewall. For this reason, the journaling process cannot be established directly as with the on-premises Exchange versions.
To solve this, Microsoft 365 forwards messages to the firewall. The firewall rules must be adjusted so that the firewall forwards all messages to the internal fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the Jatheon appliance, and the archiving appliance needs to be set to accept all incoming emails from the firewall. The diagram below shows how this works.
