How Is Jatheon cCore Different from Jatheon Cloud?

Jatheon cCore is our on-premises archiving appliance, which runs on your own infrastructure. Jatheon Cloud is our cloud archiving solution, hosted and managed by Jatheon. Both archive your communications for compliance, ediscovery and records requests.

The main difference is where your archive lives and who runs it. With Jatheon cCore, your data stays on an appliance you own: a hardware appliance, a virtual appliance, or a private cloud deployment on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud. With Jatheon Cloud, Jatheon hosts your archive on AWS, so there's no hardware to manage and the platform scales as you grow.

They're also licensed differently: Jatheon cCore at a flat cost per appliance regardless of the number of users, and Jatheon Cloud on a fixed per-user fee.

Both archive email from all major platforms and many other channels. Jatheon Cloud also includes AI features, such as AI classification, risk scores and Liya, Jatheon's AI assistant. If you use Jatheon cCore and want to move to the cloud, Jatheon Support can migrate your archive.
