Does Jatheon cCore Support SSL Certificates?

Yes. Jatheon cCore supports SSL certificates to protect connections to the server, and you can install your own certificate.

The Jatheon cCore appliance comes with a self-signed SSL certificate, so connections are encrypted from the start. Because a self-signed certificate isn't issued by a trusted authority, browsers may warn users when they connect.

To avoid these warnings and match your organization's security policy, you can buy an SSL certificate from your certificate authority and install it on the Jatheon cCore server. Once it's installed, users connect to the archive over a trusted, encrypted connection.

You can also secure the connection between Jatheon cCore and your directory server with secure LDAP. If you have questions about installing your certificate, our Support Team can help.
