How to Add and Remove Notes from Emails

cCore allows authorized users to add internal notes to archived emails. Notes are visible only to users with the appropriate permissions and can be used to provide additional context during investigations or compliance reviews.

To add a note to an email:

  1. Open the Search page and run a search.
  2. Select the email you want to annotate.
  3. In the email preview pane, click More and select Add Note.

Open the More menu and select Add Note.

  1. Enter your note.
  2. Click Add Note to save it.

Enter the note and save it. 

Enter the note and click Add Note.

After the note is saved, it appears in the email preview panel together with the author and the date it was created.

Removing a Note

Users with the appropriate permissions can remove existing notes from an email.

  1. Locate the note in the email preview.
  2. Click the Delete (trash can) icon next to the note.
  3. Confirm the removal when prompted.

Click the Delete icon to remove the note.
Note: Notes are intended for internal collaboration and are only visible to users who have permission to manage notes. They are not visible to end users or email owners.
