How To Provide Necessary Data for Google Drive Archiving

In order to commence with Google Drive Archiving on Jatheon Cloud, please follow the next steps:

Step 1: Provide Admin Email

Contact your Google Workspace Super Admin and ask them to provide their Google Workspace email (username).
Password is not required. This email will be used to create a matching user on our Cloud platform.

Step 2: Enable Domain-Wide Delegation (DWD)

Ask the Google Workspace admin to enable Domain-Wide Delegation (DWD) for our service account. For reference, see Google’s official article: Control API access with domain-wide delegation.

Relevant part for granting permission to Jatheon is in section “Set up domain-wide delegation for a client”:

  1. In Step 4, set Client ID to 101410519144350503743.
  2. In Step 5, add the following API scopes (OAuth permissions):
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/admin.directory.user.readonly

After entering these values, click Authorize to complete Domain-Wide Delegation.

Step: Provide Customer ID

Ask the Google Workspace admin to provide their Customer ID.
See Google’s help article: Find your customer ID - Google Workspace Admin Help.

Step 4: Handover to Jatheon

Once Domain-Wide Delegation is enabled and both the admin email and Customer ID are provided to us, a Jatheon super admin will take over - no further action is required from the customer.
We will create a new user on Jatheon Cloud with the Account Admin role. The user’s email must match the Google Workspace admin’s email.
